The start of summer typically is a time for graduations, weddings, outdoor barbecues, as well as trips to the beach, theme parks and other vacation hotspots. This summer will be unlike anything we’ve seen due to the coronavirus but that doesn’t mean we can’t still have fun, albeit at a safe social distance. Familes across the country are getting together on video conference platforms like Zoom or Google Meet, holding video or drive-by birthday parades and graduation parties, as well as staycations with day-long bike trips and picnics at local parks and beaches. While many are still quarantining and everyone is staying home as much as possible, be sure to take a few minutes to watch our new videos on Talking to Your Family About Your Estate and on Probate: Why It’s Not as Bad As You Think. These are very important and timely topics right now, and it’s critical to make sure you are sharing your thoughts about your estate with your trusted family members and loved ones.
