Howard S. Krooks, Esq., CELA, CAP presented on the importance of elder law planning to retirees at the recent CSEA Retiree Meeting in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Boca Raton, Fla.: Feb. 25, 2020: Elder Law Associates PA Partner Howard S. Krooks, Esq., CELA, CAP spoke about the importance of elder law planning and the “Essential Legal Documents You Need” at the recent CSEA Retiree Local 951 Meeting in West Palm Beach, Fla., on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020. The event, entitled, “Getting Your Legal House in Order,” featured Mr. Krooks and others with helpful information for the retired local members of CSEA Local 1000, one of New York’s largest worker unions, with three retiree local groups located in Florida.
Mr. Krooks has presented to the CSEA local group in the past and was invited back in 2020. His presentation this year discussed reasons why planning and the execution of advance directives is important. He also provided detailed information about vital planning tools, including: power of attorney, health care surrogate, living will, HIPAA medical information releases, pre-need guardian, Last Will and Testament and types of trusts.
