Stuart R. Morris founded his own estate planning, asset preservation and estate administration firm, which later became the Morris Law Group, in 1991. In addition to being Board Certified by The Florida Bar in both wills, trusts and estates and elder law, he is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Morris was chosen as one of the nation’s Top 100 Attorneys by Worth magazine in 2006 and 2007, a Florida Super Lawyer in 2007 and has received an AV® Peer Review Rating, the highest rating afforded an attorney, from Martindale-Hubbell. He is a member of The Florida Bar, Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Bar Association.

Mr. Morris serves on the Board of Directors of SOS Children’s Village of Florida, Inc. in Coconut Creek and on the Board of Directors as General Counsel and Chairman of the Endowment Committee of Temple Beth Am in Margate. In addition, he is a member of the Advisory Board of First United Bank and the Professional Advisory Committee for American Friends of Hebrew University. He is on the Attorney-CPA liaison committee of The Florida Bar. Previously, Mr. Morris served as Chair of the Professional Advisory Committee and on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Federation of Broward County as well as on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Community Foundation of the Jewish Federation of Broward County. He is an active member, and former member of the Board of Directors, of the Alzheimer’s Association, Southeast Florida Chapter, Inc.

Mr. Morris is sought after as a featured speaker on national and local levels. He has spoken on asset protection, estate planning, business succession and structuring planning, and special needs trusts to the New York State Bar Association, New York University Institute of Taxation, Stetson University Law School, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, The Florida Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, many chapters of the Estate Planning Council, the Florida Institute of CPAs, Merrill Lynch, Smith Barney, Wachovia, UBS and many local corporate and charitable organizations.

He graduated with honors from the University of Florida, where he received his undergraduate, masters and law degrees.

Mr. Morris is married with three children and lives in Parkland, Florida.
